Clear Aligners & Invisalign

Unlike traditional braces that are adhered to the teeth, Invisalign aligns the teeth using clear plastic aligner trays that can be easily removed from the mouth.

Invisalign is a treatment that typically requires a series of aligner trays to be created and used throughout the treatment plan. This allows the aligners to gradually shift your teeth into the correct position. It also enables your doctor to move your teeth in a precise, timed sequence to achieve the best overall results.

Your Invisalign trays are custom-made for you. At your first appointment, your dentist or orthodontist will use a scanner to take 3D digital scans of your teeth. Additional X-rays and scans may also be required so your doctor can assess your teeth, jaw, and any previous restorations.

Once the images are complete, your dentist or orthodontist will develop a personalized treatment plan using advanced technology to determine how your teeth should be aligned. Your aligners will then be created, and your doctor will ensure they fit properly.

After receiving your aligners, you’ll need to wear them consistently. Your doctor will schedule regular follow-up appointments, during which you’ll receive new aligners to continue shifting your teeth. Your treatment progress will also be monitored and adjusted as needed.
