With single-visit tooth restoration and facilities exclusively for dental patients, we are one of the few offices in London that offers CEREC computer dentistry. Why go to the dentist twice if you don’t need to?
What is CEREC?
CEREC is a medical technology for repairing teeth in just one visit. This means that there’s no need for gummy impression material or temporary teeth after the treatment. The materials are metal-free, and they are compatible with natural tissue found in the mouth, which makes them highly resilient and natural-looking.
The CEREC Process
During your appointment, you’ll discuss the procedure and your doctor will answer any questions you may have. Once everything’s set, the doctor will use a special 3D imaging camera to take pictures of your teeth. With the help of CEREC’s proprietary software, they’ll design a restoration that fits your form and function just right. They’ll then use diamond burs to create a seamless ceramic restoration for you. The final step is bonding it onto your tooth with an adhesive that creates a long-lasting bond between the two surfaces.
Why Choose CEREC?
CEREC offers many benefits over traditional dental crowns.
Time: CEREC crowns are completely made in one visit, saving you time away from your family and work.
Comfort: With CEREC, you won’t need a temporary crown in order to prevent discomfort. Keep your mouth healthy with CEREC!
Aesthetics: The strong and tooth-colored materials of CEREC restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function. In other words, your teeth will look natural – instead of yellow or off-white – while also functioning like they usually would.
Strength: Your smile deserves the best! Traditional teeth whitening treatments can be short-lived. Milled ceramic, on the other hand, is stronger than traditional layering methods, so your smile will last for years instead of short months.
Fillings: CEREC can be used for not just crowns, but also fillings. With this treatment, you’ll get a dental filling made of porcelain, which is more durable than white composite fillings.
