DENTAL STUDIO AVONDALE ROAD | Comprehensive Oral Health Care in London, Ontario

ABOUT US

Why Choose Us

A Historical Overview

Clarke Road Dental was purchased by Dr. Anand Soni on October 2, 2002. Shortly after the purchase, all of the sterile green tones in the office were replaced with warm earth hues. The practice quickly expanded in terms of operatories, modern equipment, and staff to accommodate the influx of new patients. New equipment included a brand-new hygiene operatory and eight computers that were strategically placed in each operatory. Over time the practice grew from five employees to over thirty highly trained and skilled staff members!

Soni Dentistry was incorporated on January 1, 2007. Towards the end of 2007, the practice outgrew its location in Argyle Mall and a new building was built near 400 Avondale Road. On November 16th, 2008, the team added a sedation permit and began implementing sleep dentistry.

Great changes happen all the time. In May 2011, Dr. Kim became a partner after working for eight years with Dr. Soni. It was in 2012 that we had the opportunity to expand our east side of the building, which is dedicated to our hygiene wing.

In January of 2016, a brand new second location was opened on the west side of the city adjacent to the Wonderland Road Costco gas bar. In 2021, the East location joined the MCA group and is now known as Dental Studio Avondale Road.

Dr. Soni, and his wife, Angeline Soni, office manager, along with Dr. Kim are committed to providing all of their patients with high-quality oral health care. They’re proud of their team and its successes, which they work hard to sustain.

Financial Options

When you’re ready for dental care, we want to make this decision as easy as possible. That’s why we try to explore all the financial options available so that you can afford a quality treatment and achieve your goals.

Your First Office Visit

Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable, safe, and private dental experience. We’re sensitive to patients’ needs and understand that apprehension about visiting the dentist is natural. Whether you need a routine checkup or a more extensive treatment plan, we are committed to providing you with gentle and high-quality care.

Your first visit is all about you – your comfort, your happiness, and your health.

Our first meeting is where the magic happens. During your visit, we’ll review your dental and medical history form, take X-rays of your teeth, and then meet with you to discuss your x-rays. We’ll also help you create your own individual treatment plan, answer any questions that you may have, and make sure you’re on track for a long and healthy smile. At your next visit, one of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, checking for cavities or signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.

Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these with you to your first appointment:

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The Ontario Dental Association (ODA) recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Many of our patients have busy schedules. When you come to the dentist, we want to make sure that we give you a reasonable appointment time. Your appointments could last anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.

Financial Policy

Payment Method

At our office, we accept cash, debit cards, Visa and MasterCard. If you plan on paying with a personal cheque, you must come in the office with your driver’s license and major credit card. We want to make sure that you’re completely comfortable with the final cost of treatment before it begins. Prepaid estimates and financial arrangements are available at our front desk to help make sure this process is as easy as possible for you.

Patients with Dental Insurance

We work with a lot of insurance companies. These companies have many different dental plans, which can change at any time throughout the year. We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on information available to us. It’s sometimes almost impossible to give an accurate estimate of your balance because some insurance companies don’t tell dentists how much it will cost (co-payment). As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any changes to your insurance. Please understand, however, that ethically it is the dentist’s responsibility to treat the patient and provide for their individual needs to the best of his/her ability regardless of what allowances or restrictions are placed on the specific dental plan that is accepted.

Upon our evaluation of your insurance coverage, we will complete the necessary forms to submit claims to your dental insurance company.

For companies that allow you to assign your benefits, please know that we are happy to accept this form of payment from your insurance provider. By doing so, the patient only pays a portion of their fees which is not covered by the primary insurance company at the time of treatment. These fees are known as co-payments. If your company does not allow assignment of benefits in this way, please make sure you bring something else to cover these costs when coming for a treatment.

Thank you for trusting us with your dental health! We strive to provide the highest quality service and look forward to continuing our work with you in the future.

Patients without Dental Insurance

When it comes to dental work, you want the best treatment in a timely manner. Most of our payments are due at the time of your treatment, but we also offer financial solutions for patients who are experiencing difficulty. If you’re worried about paying for your procedure, please ask for more information during your consultation with our treatment coordinator.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide two working days notice if you need to reschedule an appointment. We often have patients waiting to see the dentist, and they’ll receive priority over new patients who haven’t cancelled at least 2 working days in advance. As an added level of protection, we charge a scheduling deposit when we have booked out all appointments for that day.
